Privacy Policy
This policy explains how TINNOX uses and protects the data you provide when you visit tinnox.com.au. We may update it from time to time; the wording on this page is the current version.
What user data we collect
When you visit the website, we may collect the following data:
- Your IP address.
- Your contact information and email address.
- Other information such as interests and preferences.
- Data profile regarding your online behaviour on our website.
Why we collect your data
We are collecting your data for several reasons:
- To better understand your needs.
- To improve our services and products.
- To send you promotional emails containing the information we think you will find interesting.
- To contact you to fill out surveys and participate in other types of market research.
- To customise our website according to your online behaviour and personal preferences.
Safeguarding and securing the data
TINNOX is committed to securing your data and keeping it confidential. TINNOX has done all in its power to prevent data theft, unauthorised access, and disclosure by implementing the latest technologies and software, which help us safeguard all the information we collect online.
Cookies, analytics and advertising
We use the services below to understand how people use this website, to follow up enquiries, and to advertise TINNOX to people who have visited it. Some of them use cookies, which are small files your browser stores so a website can recognise it on later visits.
- Cloudflare Web Analytics counts page visits and measures how quickly pages load. It uses no cookies and doesn’t identify you.
- Google Analytics shows us how visitors find and use the website, for example which pages they view and whether they request a quote. It keeps a random identifier in a cookie for up to two years so it can recognise returning visitors. Google receives the pages you view, your device and browser type, and an approximate location worked out from your IP address. Google Analytics doesn’t store your IP address, and it doesn’t receive your name, email address or phone number.
- HubSpot is our customer relationship management system. Its cookies (such as hubspotutk and __hstc, kept for up to six months) record the pages a visitor views, so that when you send us an enquiry we can see what you were interested in. The details you enter in our quote form are stored in HubSpot.
- Zoho Desk is our customer support system. The details and files you send with our support form are stored in Zoho Desk so our support team can reply. The form’s security check is loaded from Zoho, and Zoho may set its own cookies when it shows the check or receives the form.
- Meta Pixel (Facebook and Instagram) lets us measure how our ads on Facebook and Instagram perform, and show our ads to people who have visited this website. It stores an identifier in a cookie (_fbp, kept for up to 90 days) and sends Meta the pages you view and actions you take here, such as submitting the quote form. It may also send an encrypted (hashed) identifier so Meta can match your visit to a Facebook or Instagram account. Meta handles this information under its own privacy policy.
These providers may store and process information outside Australia, including in the United States. They act on our behalf, for the purposes above.
Cookies don’t give us control of your computer, and you can use this website without them. To block or delete cookies, use your browser’s settings; www.internetcookies.com explains how for most browsers and devices. You can also:
- opt out of Google Analytics with Google’s browser add-on at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout;
- choose which ads you see from us in your Facebook or Instagram ad preferences;
- ask to see, correct or delete the information HubSpot holds about you by emailing enquiry@tinnox.com.au.

Our website contains links that lead to other websites. If you click on these links TINNOX is not held responsible for your data and privacy protection. Visiting those websites is not governed by this privacy policy agreement. Make sure to read the privacy policy documentation of the website you go to from our website.
Restricting the collection of your personal data
At some point, you might wish to restrict the use and collection of your personal data. You can achieve this by doing the following:
When you are filling the forms on the website, make sure to check if there is a box which you can leave unchecked, if you don’t want to disclose your personal information.
If you have already agreed to share your information with us, feel free to contact us via enquiry@tinnox.com.au and we will be more than happy to change this for you.
TINNOX will not lease or sell your personal information. We share it only with the service providers described in section 04, which act on our behalf, or when the law requires us to. Your personal information will be used when we need to send you promotional materials if you agree to this privacy policy.
