01 / ROBUSTMICRO

PRODUCT / DIGITAL KIOSKS

Built for the next crowd. And the next.

A premium outdoor COB LED kiosk for pedestrian information and advertising, combining close-viewing detail with a display made from replaceable modules.

Discuss a RobustMicro project

At a busy interchange, one audience leaves and another arrives. The screen needs to reward a closer look today and remain worth looking after over years of use. RobustMicro brings fine-pitch LED into the public kiosk format, with a different way to service the image itself.

  • Made for the waiting moment.

Present detailed information and rich imagery where people stand close enough to take it in.

  • Keep the screen.

Replace the part. When a fault is isolated to an LED module, the affected module can be replaced instead of the entire display panel.

  • Plan beyond opening day.

Choose a modular display architecture when long-term use and maintainability justify a higher initial investment.

Where the next audience is already arriving.

Transport interchanges and major venues bring people close to a screen, often for more than a passing glance. RobustMicro is built around that public viewing moment and the demands of a lasting installation.

The design behind the public face.

A public face with protection behind it. Everyday contact meets the protective front glass before it reaches the display. Anti-glare treatment helps the message remain visible, while UV filtering reduces the sunlight reaching the screen.

The next crowd does not wait for the screen to cool down. Integrated closed-loop air-conditioning manages the internal temperature for sustained outdoor operation. RobustMicro uses this cooling approach in place of the filtered ventilation shown for the other models.

Keep the screen. Replace the part. A fault isolated to an LED module can be addressed at that module, with the rest of the display retained. Front service access helps put the affected component within the technician’s reach.

A waterfront address comes with salt in the air. An aluminium enclosure with a PVDF finish provides resistance to corrosion for outdoor placement. It is part of designing the kiosk for the place it will live, year after year.

Selected experience highlights

Worth a closer look.

Waiting for a tram gives someone time to notice the image. RobustMicro’s fine-pitch COB LED display brings rich colour and detail to the pedestrian viewing moment, where the audience may be standing just a few steps away.

One update.
Across the whole precinct.

A new campaign can appear at the interchange, along the approach and outside the venue. With a suitable CMS, publish to selected screens together while keeping location-specific information where it belongs.

Know what needs attention before you arrive.

A display across the precinct can feel a long way away when something goes wrong. Optional remote monitoring brings supported status information and alerts to the operator, helping the team decide what needs checking before a site visit.

Find your place in the Robust range.

Choose RobustMicro when pedestrians will view the screen up close and the project warrants a premium modular LED display. It is a considered investment for sustained public use, rather than the default choice for every noticeboard.

RobustPro is the LCD starting point for freestanding pedestrian communication. RobustMicro is the premium alternative when modular LED servicing and the intended viewing experience justify the investment.
